    I bought these to try instead of the XP custom lights I was using. Strung onto an Ovation. Still not completely satisfied. Good to record with since you can tweek the final result, but not so much for live performance.

    Tried these on a Kiesel thinking acoustic electric and blown away by the tone and playability. I had been using medium gauge 80/20, but since this guitar is a 25.5" scale, the tension was a bit high. I figured that since I could adjust for tone I would try a much lighter gauge and give the new XT's a try. Even unplugged the tone was better. Plugged in, these strings are amazing.
