As an Armature collector with 21 guitars I don't get to play each guitar as often as I would like. But I can Count on the to be ready to play each time I pick them up due to the quality and consistency of these strings.

  • I always buy these strings

For acoustics, this is 100% my favorite brand. They stay bright and fresh sounding much longer than others I have tried, and also have a good feel. I usually get at least a year of regular play time out of them. #sweepstakes

Didn't really have a chance to play them much since they were going on a guitar I was selling. What I did see was good, tuned up nicely and held their tuning pretty good. Sounded great and they were easier to play than the original strings, but I'm not sure what gauge the original strings were.

Update on first post. After using these strings for a while I can say they are excellent strings, they feel great and do not feel like they are coated. I like the fact that they feel so good, but I prefer 80/20 brightness and chime esp for a twelve. I am sure anyone that prefers Phosphor Bronze will actually love these strings. That said I would only buy these again if they make an 80/20 version because the coating is almost imperceptible and play they play so well. Hope that helps anyone hesitant on the cost, they're worth the money if you like Phosphor Bronze. Rock
