Good product overall, convenient.
This is great concept and makes for an obtrusive tuner that's accurate and easy to use. I initially bought an older version of this with the green screen, and I liked it so much that I bought several more for my other guitars in active rotation replacing the clunkier headstock tuners that I had. Since then, I ran into two problems with this product: 1) The display was impossible to see when I played outdoors during the daytime and under a stage roof. I'm not sure if there was a product defect or if my battery was running low. But it always seemed fine under indoor lighting conditions. I never ran into this problem with the earlier green screen editions. 2) The plastic clip that attaches to the guitar top cracked on one of the 5 units that I own. That one is on a '93 Martin so I'm wondering if the top on that guitar is slightly thicker than the others (Taylors) that I use them on. Overall, I'm happy with this product, but I'm forced to use an outboard pedal tuner when I play outdoors in a stage setting due to the display visibility issues.

First one was dud. Second was okay. Nice size and discrete.
It's a nice visible tuner interface, but a little difficult to reach in past strings to hit on/off button as needed. You get used to it but I don't have super large hands, so if you have anything bigger I'm sure it would be a little frustrating. Other than their limitations to design the concept and execution is pretty good.

Works well, but the plastic soundhole clip is not durable

I found this guitar soundhole tuner to be accurate and easy to use & install. The tuner works well even with considerable ambient noise present, but the tuner can have difficulty picking up the 6th string (low E). Be aware that the plastic clip that holds the tuner in the soundhole can easily break, particularly, if switching between multiple guitars. I recommend purchasing one soundhole tuner for each guitar.

Very convenient and discreet. I have Pedersen hd strobe tuner which of course is more accurate but you really can't beat the technology and size for 25 bucks.

It was a birthday gift for a homeless friend. He loves it and plays it every chance he gets! The people who have donated towards his cause and I keep it under lock and key because of his situation. He played piano when he was younger making the learning curve in his favor. I am right handed which also makes teaching him in both of our favor. The only slight downfall, as it is with many factory beginner models, is the action. I will most likely go with a smaller guage string and/or modify the nut/bridge for greater ease of play until his finger dexterity strengthens up Abit. All in all, it is a perfect gift of good quality and price.

This is a great little device that works perfectly for me. It is super easy to use and read. It clips right onto the inside edge of the sound hole so it isn't in the way and it stays in place well!
Great "hidden" tuner. Super handy.

Great, super handy in-hole placement. No harm to finish in my use so far, Out of the way, no problems. Doesn't pick up the low E on some guitars (I have 5 of these tuners in 4 Martins and an old Guild. I buy one every time i get a new guitar!

As it appears in the picture of it installed, how does one see that the string is in tune, without tipping the guitar up, while holding the tuning key, and trying to pluck the string being tuned? Maybe a video demo would be in order?
The tuner rests on the bottom of the sound hole so you can see it from any playing angle.
