Description
An ultrafine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the 80/20 bronze wrap wire, then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. They offer natural round wound feel and will sound fresh and bright 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.
80/20 bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life.
D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.

I recently bought a new acoustic guitar. It was perfect in almost every way, except the strings were nasty to say the least. I put on a set of these babies and I couldn't be happier. They hold their tune after long periods of play and they have the sort of projecting tone that we as guitarists constantly strive for. I will definitely go in this direction again and I recommend that others so the same!

I have read some of the other reviews about these strings. Funny I have been using D'Addario EXP10'S on my guitars for over 20 years and never had a problem. Know I went to D'Addario EXP13's this last month and had no problems. I don't understand guy's! I just want to say I believe these are great strings and a great string company. They never done me wrong. I use D'Addario EXP36 on my 12 string and again they are great strings!! I use the 80/20 for that deep and bright sound, and I get it!! Long lasting, great look, and above all durable string!! I love the feel on my fingers when I play up & down the neck!! I tell my students to use them and they give great reviews!! I think you should check the tuners on your guitars! Please, I am trying to be helpful!
Most Bang for the Buck

Most Bang for the Buck, over a year on both the twelve and six string, kept in ATA cases never out of tune, no corrosion to make'em go dead. Did have aproblem breaking the G string though after a new nut was installed not a problem now. I use custom lights both finger pickin and pick bang'em hard, bang'em soft they never fail me. I went through tons of Martins which I really like but after a month they had to be changed. For me D'Addrios are as close to lifetime as I can tell...........well at least a whole year for sure. 0.0328493150684932 Cents per day not bad. I have used them for over ten years, the sound has all ways been true and there.
