    I have one old guitar where the truss rod can no longer be turned. I have gradually reduced the string gauge I put on that one to reduce neck pull and get the action where I like. This in-between 8-38 and 9-42 is the PERFECT set to get my old favorite to play with good action and no buzzing because of neck bow. Hopefully I can get few more years to play this guitar without more costly fixes. The strings sound great and give my fingers a real break after playing a full set on a different guitar with 10-46.
