    Can these be used on a Stagg upright electric bass? I have flat wounds and they are tough to bow. Also, I'd like more trebly sound (for more of an acoustic double bass sound)

    Are these strings able to be strung though the body of an American Fender Jazz Bass, or are they too heavy and required to be top loaded?
