I love these for my regular Acoustic. A lovely warm gentle sound. I was going to toss and unwanted cheap acoustic that sounded dull, I tried these, and they saved the guitar. Might also be a good option for children's soft fingers.

I've played guitar for over a half century. I now only play for my pleasure. I can't imagine my life without playing music.

I use these strings for my backup acoustic/electric Yamaha. I love the clear warm tone of them.

  • What to expect with these strings

Gypsy jazz string have the gauges you would expect for electrics, but not acoustics. These strings are equally as great as the 11 gauge version, however I would recommend the ball-end set (this one) over the loop-end. The loop ends unwind and are not as powerful volume-wise, causing problems. Given that the instrument is usually 26 1/2 inches in scale length don't expect for these to play like hair. These are excellent strings and last longer than the Argentines' alternative. If these strings are not in your local music store just pick up light gauge Silk and Steel D'Addarios, they're both silver-plated copper and Stochelo Rosenberg uses them exclusively. All-in-all, great deal for gypsy jazz guitarists.
