Description

D'Addario EJ53T sets are designed for use with Hawaiian tenor ukuleles. The 3rd string is a wound aluminum string complimented by a 1st, 2nd and 4th unwound string made from D'Addario's warmest sounding black nylon. This set is optimized for standard GCEA tuning.

The original ukulele offering from D'Addario, each black nylon string is carefully center-less ground to an ultrasmooth, ultraprecise final diameter for excellent feel and unparalleled intonation with a warm, long-lasting acoustic tone.

    I have always been a fan of D'Addario strings, and these keep that trend gong. Very smooth but also punchy sound.

    A warmer tone and good feeling string. The wound C seems to has a dropped response with the piezo pickup some, but the acoustic sound is great.

    G string garbage. Broke upon tuning before it was even in tune
