Description
Bring out the best in your nylon-string guitar with the D'Addario EJ27N Student Classics Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings. Specifically designed for beginner classical guitarists, these strings provide a warm, balanced tone and comfortable feel. The traditional combination of silver-plated copper wound over nylon and clear nylon trebles produces a charmingly mellow tone that resonates with students and inspires practice. Normal tension strings are D'Addario's best-selling tension, preferred for rich tone, comfortable feel and dynamic projection. The EJ27N strings—an ideal choice for learners and developing musicians.
Warm, Long-Lasting Tone for Practice and Performance
The EJ27N strings are constructed to provide a warm, balanced tone from the first strum that lasts through hours of practice and performance. Three clear nylon trebles offer bright, focused treble tones while three silver-plated copper wound basses provide a solid bass foundation. Together, they produce full, resonant chords and articulate single notes. Their tone and feel inspires beginners to keep practicing and advancing their skills.
High Quality and Durability
As a highly trusted brand, D'Addario is committed to providing high-quality, durable products for musicians at every level. The EJ27N strings are built to withstand the rigors of beginner practice while maintaining tone and tuning stability. Their high-carbon nylon trebles and copper alloy wound basses are less prone to breakage, ensuring students can complete practice sessions without interruption. Overall, the EJ27N strings provide great value, tone and playability for developing classical guitarists.

Got these last minute for a mariachi guitar player who needed a change of strings for a concert the next day. From Daddario, this student model set of strings was still beyond what other strings are offered at this price point. If you are looking for strings but dont want to pay silly money go for daddario. Excellent value.

Bought twice, used 0.84 times
Originally bought a set in April for my younger son's nylon-string in a mass purchase of electric & acoustic strings for myself. Not sure what happened to the first set. Don't recall ever seeing them, and couldn't find them, so I ordered again. While restringing the B broke. It's been about 45 years since I strung a nylon-string, but the 5 others didn't break, so I'm not going to immediately take the blame.

Strings fall out of tune instantly. I've been spending a little more on better strings by the same company and apparently they're well worth it. I thought maybe I could save some money with these but now I know the difference. Do disappointed. Will try to get my money back.
Great sound, I would buy them again.

I have the strings installed on a small Yamaha guitar purchased at the Guitar Center. Typical with all nylon strings the upper strings need to be tuned with each use, but the sound is very good.
Great warm tone

I bought these for my Cordoba Mini MH II short scale guitar. These strings helped to bring the guitar's sound to life. Being a smaller guitar, the body does not have as much resonance, but these strings deepen the sound and make the guitar sound much larger than it is. Definitely and improvement over the stock strings.
Huge improvement in sound!

I changed out the worn strings on my daughter's classical guitar and what a huge improvement to the sound quality and volume! Truly a night and day difference. We will make it a habit of changing these more frequently. Putting new strings on a guitar also makes it feel better in your hands. These new strings stretched for several days so break out your tuner.
