D'Addario EJ21 XL Nickel Jazz Light Electric Guitar Strings

Description
The D'Addario EJ21 XL Nickel Jazz Light Electric Guitar Strings are revered by players everywhere for their distinct, bright tone. Made with a high carbon steel core and nickel-plated steel wrap wire, these round wound strings have been the standard of excellence since 1974. Their 12-52 gauge provides balanced tension and intonation for jazz setups and drop tunings alike.
Jazz Light Gauge Provides Comfort and Playability
With a 12-52 gauge, the D'Addario EJ21 strings offer a "jazz light" tension that provides maximum comfort and playability. The light bottom end makes bending and fretting a breeze while the heavier top end provides ample tension for clear, ringing chords and single notes. This balanced set is ideal for traditional jazz guitar playing as well as blues, rock and other genres where a versatile, all-purpose tone is desired.
Nickel-Plated Steel Produces a Bright, Crisp Tone
The nickel plating on these strings' steel wrap wire produces a bright tone with crisp high end and firm lows. The plating also resists corrosion, keeping your strings fresh and preventing dulling of tone. With a warm yet cutting voice, nickel strings are a studio and stage staple, used on countless classic recordings across genres. Their versatility and balanced tone make them a perfect all-around choice for any guitarist seeking reliable, professional-grade strings.
Made to Professional Standards of Quality
As the world's largest string manufacturer, D'Addario is dedicated to producing strings of only the highest quality. The EJ21 XL strings are precision made in the USA to professional standards, ensuring consistent gauge, tone and intonation from every set. With a fresh, bright tone right out of the pack and a smooth, polished feel, these long-lasting strings embody D'Addario's commitment to excellence that has made their strings an industry standard.

AWESOME!
There could be no better strings than these right here. They have a great feel and sound great too. If you are into metal and drop C tuning these strings are perfect. what also makes them even better is because the nickel wound g-string. Because, with a plain string let's say gauge .18 sound's really sloppy and loose. but with the nickle wound .24 it sounds so much better and you can still play those shreddin' solo's!

These strings are great for the tuning I play in (C#, drop B). They give you that saturated distortion that you look for when you're playing on a thicker gauged string, but still have just enough give to pull off extreme bends and manipulate those pinch harmonics for some killer noise making. The wound G strings provides excellent tuning stability as well. These are my go to string choice!
It was a great choice for my style

I'm more about rhythm accompaniment than lead licks, but these strings compliment my guitar playing in a wonderful way. Very clear response all the way up the guitar neck an down the spine.
Good solid strings for a fair price.

I need a set of heavy nickel wound strings to use on a Regal dobro that I just installed a mini humbucker right at the neck. Will these suit my needs?
