I have playing these strings for 20 years or so. They work great on both my Fender acoustic and my Applause. I did have the action set on both for #10 strings. They stay in tune and last a long time. I can and do recommend these strings for those wanting a quality string at a fair price.

I had to sell all of my gear several months ago and recently decided to get back into playing but wanted to go the Acoustic route. So I went and bought a brand new, Squier SA-100 Acoustic which isn't that bad but, the stock strings were like telephone cables and I wanted something a bit lighter. Mind you, I haven't played a Acoustic since the early 1970;s when I was around 13 years old, so this was all new to me once again. I went and ordered a 3 pack of these and when they came in, I put a set on my guitar and they just sounded horrible. They have a very tinny sound with no low end to them at all and what's worse, is that they would not stay in tune. But that's probably due to the slot size in the nut on the guitar. I'm assuming that my guitar came with 12's on it, so I'm going to see about either going with some 11's or filing down the bridge saddle a bit and go back with the 12's. Either way, these 10's just didn't do it for me, sorry.

Use them on my Fender acoustic, nice crisp sound, new strings keep tuned longer. feel good when playing.

I'm not big on coated strings. These are great sounding strings that don't break the bank. I just opt for re-stringing more often on the Martin D41 than keeping a set of more expensive coated strings as long as possible. Yea, yea, dreadnought supposed to use medium gauge strings for fuller sound. I did that for a couple years and I stepped it back to extra light. Loud enough, sound great, don't kill my hand and finger muscles any longer. I like to play all over the neck, I feel like I have done a real favor for myself with these. Having lots of fun with the acoustic jammer now.

I find these strings to be TOP QUALITY....although....they are just TOO light for me! (The hi "e" feels like a piece of thread). I have found....11 to 52.s are my fave, for my acoustic/electric....Although, I will say this: Man....these strings are EASY to play! I am FLAWLESS with these strings on! So.....IF you are having problems in your playing....it just might help to go to easier strings to play...(lighter guage).

I use to use Martin Marques but have found that these strings last longer and have better tone. I have switched to D'Addario on my all of my guitars 12 string, eletric etc.
