Love these strings.

I have playing these strings for 20 years or so. They work great on both my Fender acoustic and my Applause. I did have the action set on both for #10 strings. They stay in tune and last a long time. I can and do recommend these strings for those wanting a quality string at a fair price.

Horrible !

I had to sell all of my gear several months ago and recently decided to get back into playing but wanted to go the Acoustic route. So I went and bought a brand new, Squier SA-100 Acoustic which isn't that bad but, the stock strings were like telephone cables and I wanted something a bit lighter. Mind you, I haven't played a Acoustic since the early 1970;s when I was around 13 years old, so this was all new to me once again. I went and ordered a 3 pack of these and when they came in, I put a set on my guitar and they just sounded horrible. They have a very tinny sound with no low end to them at all and what's worse, is that they would not stay in tune. But that's probably due to the slot size in the nut on the guitar. I'm assuming that my guitar came with 12's on it, so I'm going to see about either going with some 11's or filing down the bridge saddle a bit and go back with the 12's. Either way, these 10's just didn't do it for me, sorry.

    I've been playing guitar for 50 years the D'addario PB's are my favorite acoustic strings. Excellent tone, balanced, and warm. and for non-coated strings these have long life. I use the ex lights for my Godin Acousticaster, the Custom lights for my Tak ef-341 and Reg Lights for my gibson LG-2. all sound great.

    Packages great, always fresh,...greta tone,...D'addario makes a coated set of these if that's what you prefer,....get them by the 3 pack to save a couple bucks.
