The availability of string sets for electric baritone guitars is fairly limited. Some sets have a heavier gauge than I prefer, some are too expensive. These have the right gauges, a fair price, and good feel and sound. D'addario makes good strings; it's as simple as that. #sweepstakes

These strings are great for down tuning. I don't use them on baritone guitars so i'm not sure about the exact feel of that but on my 2007 Gibson les paul studio they keep the tuning for Drop A great !! I like playing down tuned and 6 strings.
