D'Addario

collapse expand iconDescription

D'Addario's NS Micro headstock tuner is the pinnacle of convenience for musicians on the go. This feature-packed tuner delivers fast, accurate tuning with an easy-to-read display, while its micro design effortlessly hides on either side of the headstock. Guitarists, bassists and banjo players will love the NS Micro's sensitive piezo transducer and backlit screen, allowing for precise tuning even on noisy stages or in dimly lit studios.

Highly Accurate and Fast Tuning With Visual Metronome Mode

The NS Micro's improved accuracy and quick response provide smooth, precise tuning for any instrument. An expanded calibration range handles any tuning. This tuner's sensitive transducer picks up the faintest notes, displaying the tuning information on an easy-to-read screen so you can get in tune fast.

360-Degree Swivel Mechanism for Optimal Viewing

A 360-degree swivel mechanism gives you the perfect viewing angle every time. The padded clamp offers a secure yet gentle grip on any headstock, keeping the tuner in place during energetic performances. This flexibility and range of motion ensures an ideal line of sight whether you're tuning a left- or right-handed instrument or an ax with a large or small headstock.

Reversible Screen and Micro Design for Stealthy Portability

The NS Micro's diminutive size lets it mount discreetly on either side of your instrument's headstock. Its reversible screen displays tuning information on the front or back, allowing the tuner to stay clamped on inside most cases for storage between gigs. This stealthy portability gives you a tuner that's ready to go whenever inspiration strikes, without detracting from your instrument's aesthetics.

Maximum Battery Life and Auto-Off Function

Powered by a standard CR2032 battery, the NS Micro provides long-lasting performance for musicians on the move. An auto-off function shuts the tuner off after several minutes to conserve battery life so you can keep it mounted to your instrument in standby mode until it's needed. The included battery will keep this tuner functioning for a long time, reducing downtime spent replacing power sources.

Great for your Jeans Pocket and Gig Bags

Wow I love this mini tuner and have a few! I have one I carry in my pocket next to my "pick wallet" so that if I want to try out an acoustic guitar in GC acoustic rooms I can quickly verify the axe is in tune before demoing it. Also for either electric or acoustic this little gem is available quickly and easily to get ready for some drills or practice.

This model is NOT a NS

This is NOT an NS. The description is wrong. The newer model has upgraded software for faster and more accurate tuning. The NS also has a visual metronome. If you don't see the B button, it is not an NS, and no, the NS does not stand for Ned Steinberger. That's what the guy at guitar center said because it is designed by Ned. Also, it seems the new version only comes in black.

Great tool. This is easy to use and is accurate. The low profile hides this from view but allows the player to easily see the reading.

I love how it sits behind your guitar discreetly and doesn't get knocked off in the case like the snarks nine times out of 10. It's accurate and it's a great backup from tuner on stage goes out. I mainly use it when I'm practicing at home.!!!

Neat little tuner. I like the way you can rotate the display to go with your placement on the guitar. Pretty accurate and tucks away out of sight behind the headstock. I would be again. I needed a pair of pliers to remove the battery cover /open the battery compartment. That would be the only draw back.

  • I will buy more and put one on each of my electric guitars.

How does this model (white) differ from the black model, Item #:1375800279142 that cost $19.99. Spec's look the same. Does the white model have more features or software or what? I ordered the black model on line and it did not work. Customer service refunded my money. I hesitate to order the black model again.
