D'Addario

Description

The NS Micro offers improved accuracy, faster response, expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode and an improved ratchet design. A highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy-to-read multi-color backlit display allow smooth and highly accurate tuning in noisy, dim or well-lit environments while the micro design and reversible screen allow the tuner to hide effortlessly behind or mount on the front side of the headstock allowing the tuner to remain clamped to the instrument inside most cases when stored. A 360-degree swivel mechanism and adjustable padded clamp offer optimal viewing angles and maximum positioning flexibility. As a result, the NS Micro is equally at home on left- and right-handed instruments as well as on small and large headstocks, making it an ideal choice for the widest variety of players and instruments. The NS Micro is powered by a readily available CR2032 battery (included) and provides maximum battery life utilizing an auto-off function, shutting the tuner off automatically after several minutes from power up.

Small, inconspicuous & accurate

What more could you want. It works perfectly on both my Gibson SG electric & my acoustic. It's bright enough & quick enough to be used on stage. There is small button on the back that flips the text around so you can use it mounted on the front or the back of the neck. Nice touch! My preference is to place it on the back of the neck so only the little plastic clip is visible. I can position it on both guitars so it's out of my way when I play & with a quick power on I can retune between songs very quickly & silently. Very happy with it. I'm buying a second one so I can leave it on both my guitars all the time.

Good for home use only

This works great at home. And it tunes well. Just don't buy it expecting to play any shows with it. With any sort of volume, including a crowd, it won't pick up notes. I've tried to use these at a few gigs, and had better results with my Snark. They work great at home, just not out live in a club.

This thing is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, and that's a good thing. Easily hides and securely fastens behind the headstock, and you can adjust the orientation to fit your needs. Very accurate tuning and a great value! #sweepstakes

They're great! Track very well from contra tuning to piccolo basses - they hide behind the headstock mostly unnoticed. One of their best product and worth every penny - deals on twin packs too! mike in vegas

I bought one of these a month ago and just ordered another one. Reviewing for #sweepstakes. For the price I don't think you can beat this for the investment. I sampled against an old high end 9 volt battery tuner I had and a friends in line pedal tuner and its accurate. Even works on an acoustic I bought when the TV's blaring. The ability to place it and rotate it is great.

  • I will buy one for each guitar I own!

Lightweight and low profile, I just leave this clipped onto my headstock. Accurate and easy to read with a bright display.

Have tried a lot of tuners, name brand, generic and so forth. Most get the job done regardless of price, however usually just annoyingly off enough on occasion to drive you crazy. So far, this little tuner is the best I've used and seems to get things just right.

Is there a way to widen the "clip" on this tuner? It seems far too narrow to attach to my Cordoba Dolce (7/8 classical).

    Unfortunately, there isn't.
