The Lubrikit from Planet Waves is a general-purpose instrument lubricant that provides tuning stability by removing friction. As all players know, friction is the root cause of all tuning problems.     Unlike some of the other nut lubes this is super easy to use and store. I can leak everywhere and you can actually see how much is left in the tube. Making it easier to know when to buy more.

    I don't know if it helps in the since that it prevents string breakage. But I do know that applying this to the nut and saddles of my guitars has stop ME from having string breakage. The reusable cap for the tip works great. It's easy to lose, so be careful. The lubricant itself can be used multiple times.

    I don't have a lot of string breakage or tuning issues and I belied of this contributes to that. A small enough spout that you can be precise without any waste. The pump is smooth enough where you can put minimal pressure on it to extract the lubricant. DON'T LOSE THE SMALL RED TUBE COVER! It's easy to do!

    This is a great product. I spend hours at a time playing in drop tunings, so I've had to re-tune after every song or two, but since I started using this, I can go at least an hour without having to tune. It's a great maintenance product that every guitarist should keep handy.

    i used this on a fender highway one that would break strings. after i did a string change and used this lube with a setup the highway now plays as it should. i would recommend this lube as a maintenance item for all guitars.
