Description
The Cordoba Mini II Bass MH-E is the ultimate travel bass guitar. This compact bass delivers surprisingly deep, resonant tone from its small-scale mahogany body and fan braced top. Its 580 mm scale length allows for standard tuning, while its slim neck and 19 frets provide familiar playability. Plug In and Play Anywhere
The Mini II Bass MH-E's built-in MB103 passive pickup and preamp make it stage and studio ready. Easily amplify your signal for rehearsals, live shows or recording. The pickup's simple controls include volume, bass and treble, allowing you to shape your tone to fit any musical situation.

This great little bass far exceeded expectations. I bought this to get back into playing after 20 years and wanted to be able to practice amp-free. It looks and sounds great. Mine has no fret buzz or sharp fret edges. The tone is beautiful unplugged. Haven't had the opportunity to play it through an amp yet, however. The built on tuner is great.
I would buy this guitar again

Having not played a bass guitar in years, I wanted a guitar that would be easy to play, have a good sound, and not have a need to use an amplifier. The Cordoba Mini II Bass was the perfect choice. The built-in tuner and the electronics are great. It sounds good with or without an amp.
Excellent Mini-Bass. Great sound and great volume.

This is a great addition to my collection. I am primarily a Travis Picker who, at finally age 56, has developed an interest in some home recording projects for posterity. I am strictly an acoustic player, and wanted to complement my acoustic tracks with an acompanying bass line. This is the perfect tool to do home recording especially if bass is not your primary instrument. It is small and compact. For an instrument of its size, it packs a punch. Electronics are more than enough for what I need. Also, its size is perfect for storage concerns. Plays well right out of the box. Action is slightly high, which is expected of a new instrument right out of the box but not a major issue. Looking to many more compositions with this little guy.

Is there a case you could recommend? My grand daughter has the Uke, but no case
No one makes a case for this. It's a little smaller than a guitar. Please see:Gator GWE-Acou-3/4 Hardshell 3/4-Size Acoustic Guitar Case Blacksubmitteda year ago

Are the frets and string spacing the same as a regular sized bass? Boyfriend has very thick fingers and can't play a normal guitar. So wants to learn a little on this.

I have seen reports of sharp frets and edges. Do you have more than one in stock so I can try several? Won't buy one with sharp frets because I will then have to pay to get it fixed.
