Cordoba

Description

The F7 Nylon-String Flamenco acoustic guitar is Cordoba's entry-level flamenco model featuring the traditional combination of a solid European spruce top paired with cypress back and sides. It's a perfect fit for both beginner and intermediate flamenco players.

Incredibly lightweight, the F7 Nylon-String Flamenco acoustic guitar is built in the Spanish tradition with a slightly thinner body depth than a classical guitar. Additionally, its flat neck angle gives this guitar low action, and the bright, snappy tone characteristic of flamenco guitars.

A clear flamenco-style tap plate comes installed on the top for an added layer of protection and like all Córdoba guitars, the F7 includes a two-way truss rod inside the neck for action adjustment and long term stability.

Case sold separately.

Great sound at a fair price. The spruce top gives it a bright traditional sound.

Be aware that the color is not the same as pictured. The fret board is black and not reddish toned like in pictures...

I've played cheaper nylon guitars that sound better if not the same, but that doesn't mean this is a bad guitar. I got pretty much what I expected. The truss rod needed tightening and I felt the saddle needed shaved down about a millimeter. Very satisfied with the fit and finish. Due to the plywood (laminated) back and sides the volume is diminished quite a bit. Couldn't find a definitive spec sheet on this guitar to see if I could put hard tension strings on it, I believe that a higher tension string set would give more punch, but I'm not taking that chance, I'll stick with normal tension strings. The action is low 2-3mm at 12th fret. Not a bad guitar but I would not buy another one of these. Get a guitar with all solid woods...

The fact that I am able to bring a little if what represents the Spanish rumba to my own home is fascinating. The F7 lives up to all my expectations, and I cannot go a day without playing this. The tone is unparalleled to anything I have played for before, great for a beginner. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning beginner flamenco, or rumba gitana.

The instrument is superb playing ability for long hours of practice. It's the perfect instrument for classical and Spanish music for all genres. Amateurs and professionals alike can make beautiful music on this guitar. The machinery is very attractive. The guitar has a beautiful high gloss finish. The instrument has the qualities of one that cost $2000.00 You get more for the money. I think that the Cordoba f7 is the way to go if you are looking for a nice instrument without spending a fortune.
