Beautiful guitar with a sweet tone. Perfect intonation from the factory. The action on the treble was pretty high (4mm) out of box, so I had to lower that to 3 or so. After that it was perfect.

I take it on lessons and for personal practice. I still play my steel string acoustic when I'm on stage due to volume, but the Cordoba C10 SP has a warm, rich sound.

I have been playing a C3M for about six months. I finally ordered a C10 SP/IN last week and received it yesterday. First...appearance. This is a beautiful guitar. The spruce is perfect and has a few little bear claw marks which add interest. The rosewood back is perfectly bookmatched and is gorgeous. The rosette is very nice and the reddish touches in the bindings are very nice. The gloss finish is perfection. Second...quality. I have been over this guitar with a fine toothed comb and there is not an imperfection on the entire instrument. The fret ends are silky smooth and the action is just about perfect for me. The tuners are smooth and easy and allow very precise micro adjustments. Lastly...sound. Remember that I have been playing a very low end guitar for six months. This guitar sounds amazing to me. I played both guitars back to back to back and I find the tone to be just what I expected from the reviews. It has a brighter tone than most cedar top models...this is very much to my liking. Bass notes are deep and penetrating with a very nice sustain but they do not overpower the treble strings. The treble notes ring loud and clear with a beautiful tone, especially on the high side. Overall, a very balanced tone and volume across all strings. My old guitar struggled with this. I also purchased a HumiCase with this guitar. Even though this guitar comes with a perfectly nice padded case I would highly recommend the HumiCase. If you purchase the case within 7 days of purchasing your guitar and register them on the website, Cordoba will turn the normal 3 year limited warranty into a lifetime limited warranty. This is worth the price of the case all by itself. The case will keep your guitar humidified and protected much better that the padded case. Overall, I feel that this guitar will be with me for many years to come. It is comfortable to play and I would highly recommend it to any intermediate to advanced player.

Many compliments about the sound quality and look of the C10. Remember to pick up a humidifier for your case.

I love the clarity in the highs. The bass tone is okay, nothing amazing (I did not replace the strings yet, this may change my opinion). However, the volume is great! Build quality is amazing also. It is hard to believe this is a production model, I wonder if the "lutherie series" means it was hand made.

Great guitar for the money. I bought it as a secondary guitar so I don't have to use my really expensive concert guitar for teaching and outdoor performances. I will have electronics installed this week.

Does this guitar have the spuce top and I need a top quality case similar to the Cordoba C10 humidifed case. I do not require the humidification in the case, just the quality.

Regarding the C10 ... what do the following letters and words indicate? CD/IN, SP/IN, and Parlor All appear to be the same; what is the difference?

    Open Reply - Ronald
They are model numbers to designate differences from one to the next and they are set by the manufacturer. I'm unable to find any information as to what the letters mean.
