Description

The Cordoba C10 CD nylon-string classical acoustic guitar is a concert-level instrument designed for serious players. This Spanish-style guitar generates rich, resonant tones through an all-solid wood construction. You'll appreciate its premium components and traditional touches that inspire nuanced play. The C10 CD is the ideal guitar for elevating your classical technique and nurturing your musical passion.

Responsive All-Solid Woods Create Depth and Nuance

The C10 CD's solid Canadian cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides vibrate freely to produce warm yet crisp tones with complex overtones. The fan-braced top is sensitive to your lightest touch, giving you expressive control over dynamics and timbre. The rosewood contributes a robust low end balanced by shimmering highs. Together, these woods create an open, breathy sound with sustain that lingers.

Traditional Build and Premium Parts Honor Classical Heritage

Cordoba built the C10 CD using time-tested Spanish techniques like a Spanish heel neck joint and traditional bracing. An ebony fingerboard offers a smooth, rigid surface for intricate fingering. The C-shaped mahogany neck provides comfortable playability. Gold classical tuners keep the guitar stable once tuned while adding a decorative touch. A hand-laid mosaic rosette and wooden binding demonstrate artisanal craft. Overall, the C10 CD's traditional build and premium components pay homage to classical guitar lineage.

Premium Appointments and Lifetime Quality

Delicate touches like the 1920s-inspired pearloid rosette and wooden binding reflect Cordoba's passion for detail. With a high-gloss finish, Savarez Cristal Corum strings and lightweight case, the C10 arrives ready to perform. Cordoba's commitment to handcraftsmanship and premium tonewoods results in an instrument you'll enjoy for life.

Wonderful sounding tone for this price. I beleive that the features typically only found on more expensive guitars certainly contribute to this. Those features include solid Cedar top (on mine, or Spruce available), solid rosewood on back and sides, ebony fretboard, real bone saddle and nut, and fan bracing. Also, the guitar is beautifully made. I see absolutely no flaws in the craftsmanship. It's gorgeous.

I purchased the Cordoba C5 originally and as I got better, I upgraded to the C7 and eventually the C10. This guitar is a complete pleasure to play and to look at, it comes already set up and ready to play. The sound that this guitar produces is beautiful and full you can hear the separation between low and high notes, yet they complement each other creating a tone that pleases my soul. I cannot recommend this guitar enough.

This is a Beautiful guitar!! The detail and finish is awesome! I think the action may be just a little on the high side for my personal preference but certainly nothing I am worried about , and it may just be the strings. The tone is absolutely incredible!!!! You can almost feel and see the color of the tones!! Very pleased!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sounds even better than it looks

I recently upgraded to a C10 and I'm very happy with the purchase. I tested the guitar alongside a number of others (Kremona, Esteve, Alvarez). For this price point, I think this is the best sounding guitar you can buy, unless you get lucky with a used purchase. The resonance and sustain are exceptional, and the action is perfect for my preference and playing style. A very well-built guitar.

  • Great guitar, but IMHO the case is inadequate

I am an amateur guitarist and played a Yamaha entry-level guitar previously. I still really like the Yamaha but the Cordoba C10 sounds much better. It is a beautiful guitar but I would rather have a more typical rosette.

I love this guitar. I just started playing a few months ago, and have been looking for a guitar that has the quality to let me grow with it as I learn without feeling like I'm going to need a nicer guitar in a year or two, and this is absolutely it. For the price, it's incredible. I tried many cordobas before this one two on the lower end, and even tried the c12, but I think this one is the perfect fit. You won't be disappointed.

Cordoba's Espana and Loriente Series are handmade in Valencia and Barcelona, Spain respectively. Cordoba's Iberia, Fusion, Luthier, La Playa, Acero, and Protege Series, as well as all Ukuleles are handmade in China.
