Description
If drum mounting hardware should hold up drums and enable you to position them with precision, the DW 9000 Series Air Lift Double Tom Stand is your match. Made from heavy gauge tubing with oversized tube joints to minimize wobble, and armed with a ball-and-socket adjustment for easy positioning. Stands include 1/2 diameter tom arms to work with DW TB12 brackets and auxiliary clamp for mounting cymbals or other percussion accessories.

    Definitely lives up to its expectation. The first time I set this up I was skeptical about its claim to easy use. I added two toms and a boom arm to the back of the stand and could hardly lift the drums in place (moving them onto the platform). Thus the stability was definitely there. Once I started adjusting in place everything was VERY smooth. Lifting the whole setup with one hand took no effort--it really responded. Raising, lowering, and shifting never was a challenge, and I had no fear like I normally do of holding it just right it crashes down. Memory locks are a must, though--don't overlook their necessity.
