Steel Panther's Satchel Presents His New Charvel Signature Pro-Mod DK22

Description
The Charvel Pro-Mod DK Signature Satchel is an innovative electric guitar that fuels musical expression. Designed with input from guitarist Russ "Satchel" Parrish, it delivers tones suited for high-energy rock and metal. Guitar Center offers this premium instrument for musicians seeking to expand their sonic palette.
Fishman Fluence Pickups Provide Iconic and Modern Tones
At the heart of the Pro-Mod DK Signature Satchel are two Fishman Fluence Classic humbucking pickups. With the push of a button, you can activate voice one for vintage PAF-style tones or voice two for a hot-rodded sound. The neck pickup produces an airy chime in voice two and a dynamic vintage tone in voice one. The bridge pickup delivers a quintessential hot tone in voice two and a perfectly balanced vintage output in voice one. With this pickup system, you have access to four distinct tones to suit any musical mood.
Fast Maple Neck and Floyd Rose Bridge Enable Expressive Playing
The Pro-Mod DK Signature Satchel features a bolt-on maple neck with a 12" to 16" compound radius maple fingerboard, providing a familiar feel for shredding. 22 jumbo frets offer ample space for complex chords and soloing high on the neck. A Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge allows for radical dive bombs, squeals and other techniques requiring a floating bridge. The neck and bridge work in harmony to enable fast, articulate playing across the entire fretboard.
Sleek Alder Body Provides Solid Foundation
The Pro-Mod DK Signature Satchel has an alder body with a satin finish and sharper top edges for an aggressive appearance. Alder is a lightweight, balanced tonewood that provides an ideal foundation for the pickups and electronics. The sculpted cutaway offers comfortable access to the upper frets so you can reach every note with ease.
Premium Appointments and Playability
Additional premium features include a two-piece bolt-on maple neck, Charvel die-cast tuners, graphite neck reinforcement, heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel and Charvel neck plate. A 3-way toggle pickup switch and single volume control with push/pull activation provide simple yet comprehensive control over your tone. Every detail of the Pro-Mod DK Signature Satchel is aimed at propelling your playing to new heights.

Sounds amazing right out of the box. No case, lame for the price. Slapped it in a Road Runner tweed, fits great. New strings, quick hardware setup, and new battery had me rocking to hair metal favs in no time. The pups and neck are what really do this axe justice. Sounds amazing!
This is my new favorite playing AND sounding guitar

I've been through a couple of PRS guitars of the same price point and had issues with both of them. I am beyond thrilled with this guitar!! The pickups sounds absolutely insane with any kind of tone and the neck is by far the best feeling neck I've ever played. Not to mention how killer the purple bengal paint job is! I look forward to playing this guitar for many years to come.
Wow! I mean WOW!

I just bought this gem of a guitar a few days ago, and I cannot say enough good things about it. The tone, the low action, the pickups, color is just great! I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone! I do feel it should have come with a case, but honestly it's no deal breaker.
Positively 100% BEST GUITAR I'VE EVER SEEN/PLAYED!!!

Actually have not played it. Just opened it to check the perfect condition of the guitar and then put back into the box. The guitar is my daughter's birthday present and that is not until the 25th of September. Just liked the great finance deal so I had to order it early. Great Looking Guitar though!!
Amazing Guitar, Tone and Beyond Impressed and Pleased!

While I am a huge Panther fan, more importantly I love Satchel's tone in his guitar playing. I jumped on this guitar because Charvel is actually the one brand I dont currently own and have always been curious. Secondly, I wanted his Kramer model when it first came out but didn't jump on it and sadly it was disco. When it arrived I was blown away, solid body, amazing action and neck and tone. Brilliant for both distortion or vibrant clean styles. Not to mention the design is awesome beyond belief and totally 80s! The pickups are great to, and honestly I have a feeling this is gonna be my new go to guitar, though I have others I love as well!
