Night and day in a Acoustic G20

So I have a couple of these Acoustic G20 amps here and figured something besides the stock speakers would be a good idea. In taking out the original speaker, even before changing it out, I knew I'd be in for a treat. The stock speaker is really cheap. It's thin, light, doesn't have much of a magnet. The Ten 30 just feels more robust, like a real speaker or something. Once I put that puppy in and cranked it up, it blew me away. Solid upgrade. I'm very pleased.

If I replaced the speaker in my Fender Rumble25 (8") with this speaker, would the 25W, 8 Ohm amp accommodate the 30W speaker without causing any foreseeable problems? I know this seems like a goofy question, but the 8" speaker doesn't have the richness of a 10", in my opinion...it's been a while, but I seem to remember that I'd done this before and it worked out fine. Thanks for your help!

Would this speaker work well for bass guitar? I think all of the reviews were for electric guitar. Thanks!

No. This is for guitars - not bass
