I'm using this for 8 string guitar with distortion. It sounds great. It's very clean. I'm running a digitech processor and the speaker really makes prominent both the good and the bad of the processor. I can adjust for that with eq though. I wasn't getting the bass out of my 12" guitar speakers, also I chose a bass speaker rather than a 15" guitar speaker because of the cloth edge design rather than paper edge that a guitar speaker has. This one not only can go down to the 42hz that my lowest string is putting out I can also give it tons of power without damaging it due to the cloth edge, also it's 400 watts.

I need to replace the speaker in my fender rumble 115 bass cab, I have it connected to my Rumble 500 amp. Will this speaker match with that amp.

Hi, my question about this Pulse 15" Bass Speaker is, how much does it physically weigh? I ask because the Neodyne 15" Bass Speaker weighs in at 5.1 Lbs. That, and the power rating on the Neodyne is 300 watts, vs 400 watts on the Pulse speaker. Trying to compare the two before I commit to buying one. Get back to me whenever you get a minute. Thanks! -BJH
About 17 lbs. I would recheck the specs on that 15". I have a 15" neo speaker and it weighs more than 5 lbs. Do you need the weight difference? How loud is the 15" neo you referenc? This Celestian is rated at 96 db EIA. That's pretty good but not great.
