flimsy but compact

As others said: the action is cheap, the hinges flimsy, the sound cartoonish. However, this fits into a small backpack or laptop bag, and it's inexpensive. It goes everywhere. I DIY'ed a detachable reinforcer for the front hinge so that the keyboard can sit on my lap w/o folding up.
Where's The Case That Was Advertised Coming With This?!

Bought these as gift for kids, but feel it is sorely inadequate. They're extremely cheaply built and I feel it will break under even light usage. I believe the connecting cables between keyboard sections will prove to be its Achilles heel. The sounds are toy-like and there is not even a full GM sound set. The onboard speakers are woefully under-powered and range limited. Was advertised as coming with a carrying case…it doesn't!

Full size keys with black keys raised ? I travel and I want to keep "hand-fit".

Is the keyboard on this Carry-On piano touch sensitive or not? The description says that the keys are "full size with adjustable touch sensitivity, allowing for expression and dynamics", but at the bottom of the page, one reviewer and one Q&A answer say it is NOT touch sensitive. Which is it? Thanks... df
They're not exactly touch sensitive. They're velocity sensitive. Velocity sensitivity refers to the mechanism that allows the keys to respond to the force or speed with which they're pressed. In other words, keys react differently when they're played in different ways. Playing a keyboard gently will result in softer sounds, while literally playing harder produces more volume. They're very close.submitted4 years ago

How does this turn on? Nothing happens after I push the power button. I even tried a different USB cable. Does it need to stay plugged for a while b4 turning on?

What cable do I need to connect this to my computer as a MIDI keyboard? USB A cable with both male ends? Or is it that square-ish MIDI to USB cable?

Does this work as a keyboard piano by itself or is it solely a midi-controller? I want to be able to play and hear myself without the use of any other equity or computer.
It has it's own sounds.submitted4 years ago
