Carl Fischer Songs From Childhood

Universal Edition presents another, lesser-known side of Arvo Part in Songs from Childhood, a collection of 15 songs he composed early in his career. From improvised pieces he played for children at a nursery school to later improvs for studios and children's theaters, these pieces show the spontaneity and joy of a composer just finding his way. The included CD features recordings with new instrumental accompaniments.
