    4 stars because it does what it is supposed to do. Used with Chauvet Color Rail. Problem with IR is that it is very directional which is quite a limitation - at least for using during performance but it most likely isn't meant for that purpose. Get a DMX controller for that. Unless the light is pointed in the direction of the remote don't expect it to work. However if you are just using it to confiure the light, especially after it is positioned it is quite usefull for changing the configuration without messing with the buttons on the back of the light.
