Description

The CHAUVET DJ SlimPAR Q12 BT is a compact LED wash light featuring built-in Bluetooth technology for wireless control directly from your smartphone or tablet. Equipped with 12 quad-color RGBA LEDs, the SlimPAR Q12 BT generates a broad spectrum of colors and natural-looking color temperatures. This innovative wash light allows you to easily set static colors or choose from automated programs to create eye-catching effects, all without the hassle of cables.

Cut the Cord With Bluetooth Connectivity

The SlimPAR Q12 BT features built-in Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology with an unobstructed range of up to 150 ft, allowing you to control the light directly from CHAUVET DJ’ free BTAir app on your smart device. Save time setting up for gigs by eliminating the need to run cables between your control surface and the light.

A Spectrum of Colors and Automated Programs

Packed with 12 quad-color RGBA LEDs, the SlimPAR Q12 BT generates a broad spectrum of colors to suit any mood or event. Punchy amber LEDs allow you to achieve natural-looking color temperatures for a realistic effect. In addition to static colors, the light offers built-in automated programs that you can activate with the IRC-6 remote (sold separately) or via the BTAir app. Sound activated modes create eye-catching effects synced to the beat of the music.

Compact, Lightweight Design

Measuring just 10.9" x 10.8" x 3.7" and weighing only 3.2 lb, the SlimPAR Q12 BT is easy to transport and mounts virtually anywhere. The included hanging bracket provides flexible mounting options, while the ability to power link up to 11 units @ 120V allows you to minimize cabling for a clean setup. Fits perfectly in the CHAUVET DJ CHS-30 VIP Gear Bag (sold separately).

Reliable, Low-Maintenance Operation

The SlimPAR Q12 BT's 12 LEDs have a 50,000-hour life expectancy for long lasting, reliable operation. Quad color LEDs maintain consistent color calibration over their lifespan, eliminating the need for frequent bulb changes. An auto ranging power supply allows the light to operate on voltages from 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for any venue.

    This is an extremely bright and versatile par with Bluetooth control that is perfect for large venues and easily controlled and turned down for smaller spaces. I have used them for large high school dances and two of them can illuminate nearly an entire gym ceiling! #sweepstakes

    The lights themselves are excellent! Nice and bright, great colors, portable size. The fact you can control them with Bluetooth has actually gained me customers as everyone now has a smart phone. Female clients love using the color wheel. Only con is besides the mounting bar, the lights themselves are plastic. I'd obviously much prefer metal but at this price point you can't really complain. Also, Bluetooth is by nature not a long distance protocol so once at about 30ft or so you run the chance of loosing a connection but you can't blame the lights for that.

    My band got 2 of these for live shows. The lights themselves are fine, but the manual is terribly written, and as a result is virtually unusable. Worse, tech support is horrible. It took forever and a few techs over the phone to just get the lights to display changing colors every 5-10 seconds. If it takes them more than an hour and an escalation of the call, what do they expect from those of us (normally called customers, and ones who shelled out $400) who don't work at Chauvet, have jobs and just want the lights to do what they are supposed to do in the gig? Chauvet needs to raise its game with manuals written not by engineers, but for musicians, and they ought to be able to resolve questions like I had more quickly. I would never buy from them again after what I went through.

    This light is great to use at events because with the bluetooth capability to use with the BTAir app it makes it easy not to have to control the lighting so much when you work solo.

    It is 3,650 lux @ 2 m, and yes you can control the brightness via the app.
