Description

This dynamic LED light strip is a versatile wall-wash that creates exciting sweeping, chase, animation and blinder effects thanks to its rotating base, pixel-mapping capabilities and the ability to control each of its LEDs individually. The COLORband PIX USB’s ten LEDs crank out 9 watts each of bright, RGB color. Link multiple lights together for a spectacular effect.

Angle the the COLORband’s light where it’s needed thanks to the smooth motor built into the rotating base. D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless master/slave or DMX control puts you in the driver’s seat to create as complex a light show as you want. Or you can keep it simple and use the light’s dramatic, pre-built automated programs with or without DMX. Wireless, non-DMX operation is also available with the optional IRC-6 remote control.

    "I want to mount these to the bottom of a scoreboard at a hockey arena for pre-game lighting effects. Are the lights powerful enough (i.e. illuminance) to flash the colors down onto the ice? the specs specify that they have 6,120 lux @ 2M. I plan on mounting 4 total (one on each side) below each of the scoreboards faces. I would say that they would be mounted no more than 20-30 feet above ice level. Are these powerful enough? if not, is there another product that you could recommend me that would be satisfactory for my specific application? Thank you!

Are the light powerful enough to flash the colors down onto the ice? or do the lights have a short range? I am afraid that they wont be powerful enough to show the lights color at a quality rate.
