This is really great for what it was designed for: Lightweight, inexpensive light stand for a couple of mini lights or par cans. However, I have a Chauvet ColorStrip Mini, which will not mount onto any of the four wing-nut mounts. So with the help of one of Guitar Center's Pro-Audio Techs, Zack, I was able to clamp it into place. I may replace it. I am considering the American DJ 1.5 inch T bar.Overall, Chauvet's CH-06 is excellent for some. I am unhappy that Chauvet does not offer an equivalent T-bar at 1.5 inch to accomodate their own Colorstrip Mini or Full strip.

I would buy this product again.
The main thing I like about the stand is the center of the T-Bar you can place a light, which allows you to evenly mount your LED lights. There are a couple of things I don't like. Don't even consider using anything but LED lights due to the weight. The T-Bar is a 1" square tube with pre-drilled holes. Round tubing would be better for spacing with O-Clamps etc. The stand and T-Bar has thin metal walls and it wouldn't take much to bend them, especially where the T-Bar connects to the vertical pole.

When using the Chauvet CH-06 light bar do I need to buy a CH-06 adaptor to hang the fixtures?
Yes. This is just the bar and it doesn't have any adapters or clamps with it.
