Description

The Breedlove Performer Pro concerto acoustic-electric guitar features FSC-certified Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and a top of solid European spruce. The lightweight and sturdy braces—named for the rise and fall of the Cascade Mountains—are tailored to maximize the sound quality of the instrument’s style and shape. Enjoy beautiful, timeless aesthetics with the thin, aged toner gloss finish and gold tuners with black buttons. The side-mounted Fishman Flex Plus-T electronics include volume, treble, bass and phase controls, as well as an onboard tuner. Additional appointments to the Performer Pro concerto include an African mahogany neck in a soft C-shaped profile, ovangkol fingerboard and bridge, and TUSQ saddle and nut. Comes with a hardshell case.

    The Breedlove website states this guitar has solid rosewood back and side. It seems some of the features and specs on Guitar Center website are sometimes incorrect or incomplete. Is that right?

    Are the back and sides not solid? The top states solid spruce but back and sides aren't specified .

    No, they're laminated. If wood is not specifically stated as "solid", it isn't.
