Sustainably sourced all-solid tonewood and torrefied top
Breedlove chose African mahogany for acoustic-electric guitars in its Organic Collection Signature Series. To source the FSC Certified African mahogany, the Breedlove team traveled to the African Congo River Basin Rainforest. The mahogany construction of the Breedlove Signature Concert acoustic-electric delivers a warm, rich tone that’s ideal for players looking for a balanced sound. The torrefaction process, accomplished at the source in the Swiss Alps, offers Signature models an “aged” sound and makes for easier maintenance during fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Classic Breedlove Concert body and slim neck profile
Breedlove has based all four of its proprietary shapes on its classic Concert body, which has stood for 30 years. A classic non-cutaway profile speaks to tradition, and the African mahogany neck plays fast and clean. Additionally, the slim neck profile makes for hours of comfortable play, even with smaller hands.Breedlove Natural Sound electronics
The Breedlove Organic Collection Signature Series Concert is equipped with Breedlove’s Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement.Thin UV finish
The Breedlove Signature Concert features a significantly thinner UV-finished top. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.Other special features of the Breedlove Signature Concert include forward X bracing, bone nut and saddle and Indian laurel headstock.
About the Breedlove Organic Collection
The result of a three-year journey, the Breedlove Organic Collection brings sustainably sourced, FSC Certified, solid native and exotic tonewoods to an affordable line of acoustic-electrics for the very first time. Each wood combination is available in Breedlove’s three distinctive, popular shapes—Concerto, Concert and 12-fret Concertina. The Signature Series and Wildwood Series are also available in the new travel-size Companion shape. Breedlove Organic models feature thin UV finishes and Breedlove Natural Sound electronics. With no synthetic materials and less than half the glue of similar models, the Breedlove Organic Collection provides the natural path to uninhibited solid sound.

Older amateur, been fingerpicking guitar (and banjo) for 50 years, I've owned Martins, Gibsons, Alvarez, Epiphones and probably others. I bought this on sale for my camping guitar and any place I don't want to take my expensive "good" guitar. I'm very pleased with the quality of the construction, bright tone, easy action, solid feel and attractive appearance of this instrument. I gave it five stars because for the price, I feel it's a great value.

I've had this guitar for 2 months and I love it. It's beautiful and has a rich sound. I only wish it had volume controls on the guitar. The audio jack is loose and will likely need repair.
I will buy another

It's been many years since I had a guitar and played. During this pandemic I jokingly started picking out tunes on an egg slicer (it's true). That could only go so far, so a guitar was next up. Read great reviews about the Breedlove company and this guitar. As a novice who has played other instruments, I knew this wouldn't be a passing interest. Wanted an affordable but not a cheap guitar and this was in the sweet spot. It is a beauty, sounds really nice and feels comfortable. Have been playing it every day since delivered. Really happy.
