The Legacy OF offers musicians more punch, power, and growl than expected from the simple design, it creates a boomy, deep range that speaks with clarity and authority. The Legacy OF mandolin is crafted from the highest grade tonewoods: Sitka spruce for the top, and Western bigleaf maple for the back, sides, and neck. Black binding on the body top, back and neck accentuate the simple lines of the teardrop O-style body. The Legacy OF is finished with a captivating red toner full-gloss finish. The radiused fingerboard (which offers great comfort) is adorned with a detailed mosaic pin inlay and oversized frets. Gold hardware is standard on all of Breedlove's Premier Mandolin models. For amplification, the Legacy OF is equipped with the K&K Twin Internal electronics system.
