Fantastic for the most part.

Bought this to replace the standard surround speakers that were paired with my Bose Soundbar 700. The sound and form factor are fantastic and both are improved over the previous generation. There is only one issue, hence 4 stars, the speakers are referenced backwards in the firmware. How this makes it past quality control is beyond me. Refer to attached photo. When facing your TV the rear speaker on your right hand side should be set to R and the other one to L. If you do this, however, and run Adaptiq or play a Dolby test video on your TV's YouTube channel the right rear audio will come out the left rear speaker. I've tested two sets of speakers and triple checked my set up. The positions are the same as my previous Bose surround and they didn't have this issue. Current work around is to fast the speaker on the right rear to L and the one on the left rear to R.

NOT USER FRIENDLY

Had my Bose Soundbar 700 set up in a breeze But when these Surround 700 speakers arrived It cannot even recognize the product By using the Bose app And I am very disappointed with Bose There have been several reviews about the difficulties in the set up including the wrong manual provided Yes it says Bose surround 700 But the instructions were for Soundtouch 300 which has a totally different remote buttons Why they did not change it? You can see the pic of the remote from the Soundbar 700 and the manual included for surround 700

    I am disappointed in these Bose Speakers. Unlike the Ultra Bar and the Bose 700 subwoofer which I also purchased these have very little volume even though I have tried to adjust the volume in the App. Given a choice to do it all over again, I would not purchase these very expensive speakers......a true disappointment to me.

    Excellent addition to my system. I added the 700 Surround Speakers and Omni Jewel Floor Stands to my Ultra Sound Bar and 500 Sub and couldn't be happier with the sound. The buying experience was flawless and the included 2 day shipping was real nice.

    Purchased last month and so far a good experience. Paired with the Ultra Smart Soundbar. Sound is better than the older home theater I've had for 15 years. Glad I purchased.
