A seven-speaker arrangement is precisely positioned in the cabinet—including two transducers that help deliver sound you’d expect from in-ceiling speakers. This works in tandem with proprietary PhaseGuide technology to beam multi-directional sound to distinct areas in your room, giving you the feeling that what you hear is coming from places outside your speaker.

Incredible clean crisp tight sound

I was thinking Sennheiser, Sonos and Bose. I researched and listened to them all. After several trips to listen to specific things I decided on Bose. Incredible. It's so much better than the 600. Those top tweeters really do project the sound. I had to position it about 4-5 inches away from the wall to maximize the ports in the back. It is so clear at low levels. Voices coming from the bar are perfect. Bass on this bar is pretty deep. for a small LR its fine. I added a sub because I like to shake the floor. Not only can I shake the whole main floor, I can shake the upstairs. I sat in the chair, turned it all the way up. No distortion. I just smiled. Very Happy. This is what I wanted to accomplish. I moved from a 3.1 old school 500 watt Yamaha 5.1 with a 200 watt powered sub. Bass is matched. Volume is matched. Clarity is surpassed and the footprint is minimum. Exactly the goal. The app is cool, takes about 15 minutes to update the firmware, could use more adjustments but there is enough to dial it in. The auto calibration does work. Incredible piece of equipment. Some people say they have a reflection on top. I have a 85" and no reflection at all. On the front the functioning light are so minimal. Sleek. Well done. The design is appreciated as well.

No DTS.X or DTS Master Audio Support

I recently purchased the sound bar upgrade from soudtouch 300'which Supports DTS AUDIO I have 100'of BD and DVD DTS SURROUND and the 900 cannot even Downmix 2.0 or 5.1 LPCM any DTS NO SOUND BOSE NEEDS TO ADD DTS AUDIO As for DOLBY ATMOS and True HD No issue the sound is Amazing. with the BOSE BASS 700' and BOSE Surround speakers Amazing Home cinema experience please DTS Technology The Smart sound bar 900 will be perfect the Top End sound bar .

    I have the complete set with Bass Module 700 and Surround Speakers 700. I replaced my old Acoustimass speakers with Sony amp from 2005 with this set. What a technological difference 20 years has made! -Aesthetics are a plus. I got rid of bulky amp and center speaker. It's small and blends in. -Big sound small package. Watching a movie with Dolby Atmos resembles a theater experience in my den, surround sound decoding is realistic! Music with deep bass is punchy and highs are crystal clear! You can raise the volume with no distortion. -The Alexa feature is great so you can voice control it. -You can synch play with other Bose soundbars in your home network. -I connect my Bluetooth record player to listen to old albums. -The Bose app is good and allows you to control, update and configure your system. I have had this system for 1 1/2 years. I am very pleased with my purchase. Through the years I have owned many Bose speakers of different types (computer, headsets, earphones and mobile Bluetooth). I suppose I like the brand and their products a lot that I keep coming back for more. In my opinion, Bose speakers are awesome and this system does not disappoint.

    The Soundbar 900 is everything that was promised. The sound quality is such that subtitles are rarely used. It was extremely easy to setup My only negative is the remote. It is coated with a dull black coating that is very difficult to use. You can't tell when you turn the soundbar on or off A redesign of the remote should be considered

    I recently bought the Soundbar 900, on sale, at a great price. I'm fully aware of Bose, and have had several Bose products in the past, but I've only had this Soundbar for a few weeks. I'm still tweaking it to be ideally suited to my living room.
