The Bose F1 Flexible Array powered speaker system adapts its sound to fit any venue. The system’s full-range Model 812 satellite speaker houses an array of drivers that adjust to control the vertical coverage pattern. Once positioned, the F1 automatically dials in a matching EQ profile. This portable loudspeaker system has the ability to adapt its sound to fit different venues. The F1 Subwoofer provides additional low-end thump. Whether you’re playing at floor level or on a stage, this portable PA system has it covered. The Bose F1 Flexible Array is great for mobile DJs and musicians on the go.
The Bose F1 Powered Subwoofer is the heart of this compact PA setup. Despite its low profile, the F1 sub provides room-filling bass. Matched to a built-in 1,000W amplifier, the sub’s dual 10” driver design gives music the rich, low-frequency punch it needs to excite the dance floor. Transporting this powered subwoofer to gigs is painless, since it only weighs 55 lb. With a built-in mounting bracket, the F1 sub provides a solid foundation for mounting the Model 812 satellite speaker.
Perfectly matched to the F1 Powered Subwoofer, the Model 812 Flexible Array powered speaker provides full-range output. Its unique design features eight adjustable mid/high drivers and a single 12” woofer. The mid/high drivers are mounted on a flexible baffle, which can be manipulated manually. The baffle provides four positions that offer different vertical coverage patterns. The speaker easily installs on top of the subwoofer’s mounting bracket. Integrated cable channels allow cabling to be routed out of sight.
The Bose F1 system’s Model 812 powered speaker has a user-friendly interface. Its built-in 2-channel mixer section offers independent gain controls. One channel features an XLR combo input with a selectable Line/Mic switch. The second channel offers 1/4" and stereo RCA inputs. The Model 812 also has a high-pass switch to adjust the speaker’s frequency range depending whether or not it’s being used with a sub. An XLR line output allows easy daisy-chaining to other speakers.
Setting up the F1 powered subwoofer couldn’t be easier. Two XLR combo inputs let you connect either 1/4" or XLR cables. Dual XLR line outputs let you daisy-chain another subwoofer or connect to the Model 812 speaker. The Line Output EQ switch can be set to full range (THRU) or high-pass filter (HPF) for easy crossover selection when using the sub with the Model 812. A rotary volume knob lets you dial in the perfect amount of bass, independent of the satellite speaker. Switchable polarity avoids low-frequency overlap.
