I have three beginning high school choirs. Boomwhackers are a fun and embarrassment-free way to learn about pitch and the notes of the treble clef. Youtube has many play along songs which makes this a great activity for the shy, reserved, "I'm new to music" students.

I love Boomwhackers! They are fun to play and give my kids an easy, sturdy instrument with which to experiment with solfege. Guitar Center's price was the best that I found and the boomwhackers arrived quickly.

I noticed this said "higher octave" or something to that effect. How long is the high C/shortest tube?
Thank you.

I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available.

I'm considering these for mounting on a wall in an outdoor play space - will they stand up to the elements? What are my mounting options that won't interfere with the sound?

These may not weather very well after a few years exposed to the elements. I have heard of teachers using Velcro to attach these to walls inside their classrooms. A heavy duty outdoor Velcro may work.
