Description
Blueridge 000 guitars are fast becoming the most popular guitar in its class. From folk to fingerstyle, the BR-143 is an example of a guitar that really does it all. The solid mahogany and solid spruce combined with the smaller body size make for a truly enjoyable...and versatile guitar to play. It starts with a full-sounding solid Sitka spruce top with hand-carved parabolic top braces that's perfectly textured by the addition of mahogany back and sides. Features continue in the slim mahogany neck and period appointments that include beautiful mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays.
Blueridge is an offshoot of the South San Francisco-based Saga Musical Instrument Company. Blueridge specializes in "traditional" guitars that offer today's player vintage styling with modern performance at a level of quality and price that compares favorably to historic guitars. Each instrument is the result of detailed research and is carefully crafted at the Blueridge factory. Consistency is evident throughout, from the fretwork to the intricate inlays that adorn each Blueridge headstock.

I own 4 martin guitars. This makes an excellent practice guitar. It's easy to play, and sounds pretty good.

An amazing player that punches far above its price point. I've had this guitar for over a decade, and its held up beautifully. Still looks like the day I bought it. Plays very well. Awesome for fingerstyle. If it was lost or stolen, I'd likely buy it again.

What is the thickness of this guitar at the base and the connection to the neck, please?
The Blueridge BR-143 Historic Series 000 acoustic guitar features a body depth of approximately 100 mm (about 3.94 inches) at its deepest point, which is typically at the lower bout. Regarding the neck dimensions, the thickness at the 1st fret is approximately 19.5 mm, increasing to about 21.9 mm at the 10th fret. These measurements indicate a slim mahogany neck profile, designed for comfortable playability and ease of movement along the fretboard .
