I picked one of these up used from Guitar Center and it's a great sounding 000. It's easy to play and has an incredible sound. I was looking for a 000 sized guitar to add to my collection and this one was a good choice.

I sold a new DCPA 4 Martin guitar so I could buy this Blueridge 000 Br 43 guitar. It plays easier and feels a lot better for me. The Martin was a full size dreadnaught and maybe the reason it was harder to play. It also had a wider neck. But sound of the Blueridge to me sounds almost if not as good as the Martin. And it also has the spruce top just like the Martin. I have always loved the Matin sound.

  • Might have to buy another one for me !!

I bought this guitar as a college graduation gift for my one son and he's lucky he got it lol . I will say the action was a bit high for me out of the box but I expected that , I'm not a bluegrass picker (nor is my son) and these have quite a following with bluegrass players . Shaved a bit off the saddle , reslotted the nut a touch and it was more up our alley (quick easy fix) . Now to the important thing , the sound . This guitar sounds incredible! Well balanced from lows to highs using a pick or fingers and fills the room with very pleasing sounds (after I finished setting it up and was playing it my wife came from another room to comment on the sound) . Anyway my son is very happy and I miss the guitar , which says a lot since I own a few guitars myself . By the way , I'm not usually a fan of gig bags but this came with what I would consider a well padded soft case .

  • Plain looks, but great tone

I used to have a signature Martin 000 that was over 2K; bought this BR43 as a guitar to travel with. Compared the two in a A/B test of tone---the BR 43 was almost a match! Result: Sold the high-end Martin and kept the BR43. How did they do it so well? The looks are very plain and simple to this model, but the tone is really good for the price you pay.
