I did a test on an acoustic with this mic and had great results. The real surprise was how well it did on a video shoot to record dialogue. I placed it out of shot(not in an ideal location) while recording dialogue between two actors and was amazed at the quality. Can't beat it for the price.
The mic is ok for the money but NO CASE!!!

I got this Mic after seeing a Warren Huart microphone review for this particular product. This is an extremely versatile microphone. Have been using it for vocal and spoken recording, all the recordings have been clear, and present. Great value. I dont believe in cheap. I do believe in value.I have a collection of microphones , just for my personal taste, and glad to add this one to it. Well done Blue Mic! #TheEmber ps "IT LOOKS REALLY NICE..slightly heavier than I expected...coool"

Would this work on a computer with an xlr to USB cable? Would it get enough power to operate from a USB port?
This requires phantom power and would not get enough power to operate from a USB port.
