The Yamaha THR30II WL 30W 2x3 wireless guitar combo amp brings premium amp tones and feel to any space. Yamaha pioneered the desktop amp category, and the THR30II WL takes it to new heights. A 3-band EQ lets you tweak tones to perfection, while five memory slots store your favorite sounds for instant recall.

Jam Anywhere With Fully Wireless Design

The THR30II WL frees you to play wherever inspiration strikes. Bluetooth streaming plays backing tracks, lessons or your favorite songs through the THR30II WL's Hi-Fi stereo speakers. A built-in Line 6 G10T-compatible wireless receiver pairs with Line 6 wireless guitar systems for cable-free playing. The internal rechargeable battery provides up to six hours of portable playing time. Stereo line outputs connect to PA systems for gigging or busking.

Premium Software Suite Included

The THR30II WL includes powerful software for recording, editing and sharing your music. Steinberg's Cubase AI production software for Mac and PC offers an array of virtual instruments, effects and editing tools. Steinberg Cubasis LE for iPad provides an intuitive mobile recording solution. Yamaha's free THR Remote editor/librarian app for iOS and Android wirelessly edits THR30II WL parameters, updates firmware and exchanges tone presets with the THR community.

Little Box - Big Sound

In the THR30II I found exactly what I was looking for - and more. First and formost, I wanted an amp that sounded like my 70's era Fender Super Reverb, clean and full sounding with plenty of headroom with that classic Fender reverb. Next, I wanted something with a much smalller footprint since I'm no longer a working professional and only play for fun with my dog as my audience. I had my doubts about this little guy with 3-1/2" speakers, but boy was I pleasantly surprised when I first plugged in. At the other end of my Line6 pairing is a Yamaha SLG200NW silent guitar strung with Savarez Alliance Cantiga mediums. With the amp's modeling controls dialed in for Clean/Classic, the sound is rich and full with deep resonant bases and bright ringing trebles. The amp's equalization controls coupled with the guitar's bass and treble controls give you the ability to tailor tonal characteristics to suit your musical taste and style. I've been using this setup for almost a year and I've only scratched the surface of what's possible. I play some classical, but mostly jazz classics, the old tunes chord/melody style, so I don't stray too far from the Clean/Classic amp modeling. But just out of curiosity I ran some ZZ Top licks through a couple of the gain-heavy modeling settings. Nylon strings never sounded quite like it. There's also an app available that opens up even more possibilities than the amp alone. In the future I'll leave the these modeling settings to my grandson when he visits with his Strat. Would I use the THR30II on a gig? In a word, no. To my ears the sound seems to be very directional. Sitting directly in front of the amp you hear everything just fine. If you move off to the side, the high end drops out. That said, I suppose you could mic it through a PA system and get the desired result.

Looks nice, but..

Seems a bit pricey compared to Positive Grid, who offers a bit more for less. Price may be the only thing holding me back. My Fender was wonderful, but had two in a row with Bluetooth issues, so returned both, but loved em otherwise..

    If you live in an apartment, this is the only amp you will ever need. Great features, app, and on board effects sound awesome.

    This is my choice for a premium practice amplifier. The portability wireless features make it easy to take to friends and family. When combined with the app the amp can get gritty enough to play metal with active pickups. The Line 6 G10T11 Relay is also awesome and works well with the amp.

    Love the series in general, have the 10 watt and 39 watt versions in the past. Good plus is this 30 watt version doesnt rattle terribly like the lower watt version when the master volume pushed passing half way. The rechargeable battery is hame changer, happy overall. Only reason why not giving 5 star is because the modern high gain or special tone has a weird noise gate cutout almost like the tremolo is always on, when playing a riff and hold it it cuts out on and off it feels like, Over all i love the portability and sound quality,

    #sweepstakes Great amp with lots of features and functionality. Solidly built and great for personal practice or rehearsals. Not sure if it can handle a live performance with the band.

    This would not be a good amp for bass. It's a guitar amp and 3" speakers will not handle bass frequencies

    It will "work". It's not recommended and won't sound very good. In a case like this you risk damaging the speakers
