Description

This Yamaha Stage Custom Birch mounted tom features a staggered diagonal seam shell that has allowed Yamaha to build thin drum shells that start round and stay round. Low-mass lugs lets the shell vibrate for superb tone and sustain. Yamaha's Air Seal System used for drum shell construction ensures every Yamaha drum shell is of uniform thickness and is perfectly round to achieve superior tone quality and durability.

Features a beautiful high-gloss lacquer finish.

    For the price, quality, and sound you can't beat the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch kit. The only negative is the factory supplied heads. I suggest replacing them with clear Remo pinstripes that really bring out the sound these drums are capable of producing. The 8 inch tom is a nice addition to the kit and gives you more creative verrsatility. Buy it, ditch the heads and rock on.

    love them all so far. just wish guitar center carried all the different size drums in this line all the time. 5 or so not in stock...until later this year. this might take me a while!

    Added this to my 5 piece kit slapped a pin stripe head on there and tuned right up sounds great with the 10" and12" rack toms, and 16" floor Tom definitely buy if your looking for another drum on your Yamaha stage custom

    this is like always the final add on (ha ha) started out with 5 piece 2 cymbals. 6 mo later up to 8 pieces and 6 cymbals this my third Yamaha drum set I always love the quality and sound. you just can't do better in this price range.
