Description

The stylish, drummer-friendly design of the Yamaha DD-75 is the perfect entry into professional and versatile digital-drumming instruments. AUX IN jack lets you connect an MP3 player and play along with your favorite music, or load MIDI songs from the Internet into the internal flash ROM memory and play along. New stereo-sampled voices, a wide variety of percussion sounds from all over the world, a bass boost system and digital stereo processing give the DD-75 an irresistible, thundering beat. The panel includes intuitive features that are easy to operate. For example, select the Hand Percussion mode and the kit automatically switches to percussion voices like congas and bongos. A power adapter is also included.

    While I appreciate the portability and compactness, this kit is nowhere close to having the feel of a drum kit and not to mention the pedals don't respond well. At minimum you will need to buy pedal upgrades for this to operate properly. Sounds like a toy as well.

    It's an okay drumset, but it's kinda unreliable. The pads that come with it for the hi hat and the kick aren't very good, you have to stomp on them with more force than you need to actually get them to respond. The design is compact and good for transportation, but I find myself hitting the board that holds the drums more than the drums itself. I swapped out the kick/hi-hat for actual pedals (KU100 and HH40), which slightly makes it easier to play but still feels frustrating to play on due to the lack of sensitivity. You can get an Alesis Turbo on Sweetwater for the same price, which I'd agree is way better than this. Overall, you could get something much better.

    Beautiful lay out vs Roland FX units this baby has sound change-out triggers with better units get nice Mapex black snare stand for it sharp hi perf best for money lov it alot fun

    While it lasted, I had a pretty good time with this thing. I took it with me when meeting up with friends to play short notice and didn't need anything too substantial. Sound is about what you'd expect from a product like this, but it is plenty customizable. Main issue with this product is the relatively short life. I'll admit I didn't baby it, but had a pad fully quit responding after 8 months of relatively infrequent use. A bit disappointing
