CS6 1 SPOT Pro Mounting Tutorial

Truetone

Description

The Truetone 1 SPOT Pro CS6 power supply is the first low-profile power brick to use switching power supply technology. With its compact form factor, the CS6 is designed to fit under pedalboards like the Pedaltrain Nano and Metro series. However, you can also mount it on top of a pedalboard and use it as a pedal riser, mounting pedals on top of the CS6. Each of the six outputs are completely isolated, regulated and filtered to give you noise-free performance. With no transformer to hinder its abilities, there is never any proximity noise. And being part of the 1 SPOT family, it will work anywhere in the world without modification.

I'm not a pedal guy, so I always only relied on batteries for my 1 boost pedal. Never needed a power supply. Then I joined a band that required a few more pedals, one of which was very battery inefficient. Ventured out and bought a Pedal Power Pack - one of those that plugs in and has daisy chain connectors all along the wire. But it caused an unanticipated whine (my inexperience shows here). So I went back and bought this thing, which is quiet as a mouse. It makes my carry-on bag heavier, but it has solved my problems.

This is a great product for your pedal board and pedals. It fits perfectly under the nano series of Pedaltrain pedalboards. No need for a bracket as it has screws. It comes with the necessary cables and allows flexibility in terms of power and connectors based on your needs. Best of all, it is quiet. I could not be happier.

  • Absolutely perfect solution to my power problem

I needed a solid, isolated power solution to keep my noise suppressor and overdrive pedals turned on and as quiet as possible without buying stock in 9v batteries and this power source knocked it out of the park. It easily powers the pedals I currently have and will power many more when I'm ready to expand my stompbox collection.

  • Great addition to my board

Set this up for one of boards so that I could cut down on the rat's nest of cables I've lived with for too long.
