Still Jamming After 6-years
I bought a Squier '60 Classic Vibe Sunburst Tele Custom 6-years ago, and to this day, it is still one of my favorite guitars. The first thing that attracted me to it was the double-bound body. Wow, what a beauty, with the white trim around the edge. Picked it up and it felt great right away and then I played it. I sat at GC for an hour trying it out on a Fender Pro Jr. tube amp. After I finished playing, I bought the guitar and the amp. I had the GC Tech do a set-up and the guitar played even better. It's an excellent sounding guitar that can cover a majority of styles of music. Country (of course), Rock, Blues, Metal and more, including Jazz. Yes, I said Jazz. You can play Jazz on a Tele, especially this one. I would compare this '60 Classic Vibe Tele to some of the higher priced Fender and other manufacturers guitars I own. It was definitely an excellent purchase and one I would make again. I'll keep this guitar until they bury me in the ground and then they can put it in the coffin with me.

Not playable out of the box. Intonation way off :-(
Disappointed as this is not far from a PRS SE model. Fender and guitar center need to take more accountability.

I love the 3-color Sunburst. Everything about the looks is beautiful - no obvious cosmetic flaws. The online photos don't do it justice. I really like the feel of the neck and freboard. No fret ends poking out. Maybe just needs a string change and a slight adjustment to lower the action. Just picked up playing a couple years ago after having not played for almost 30 years. It's my first Tele and it definitely has that punchy, twangy sound I was expecting. I almost immediately tuned it to open G so I could get my Keith on - having a blast with that. And the tone from the neck pickup is a bonus. Great guitar, especially at this price!

You want a Telecaster. You NEED a Telecaster. You are considering different models of Telecasters. You are watching dozens of YouTube video reviews of Telecasters. Steve Cropper, Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, Don Rich, and Buck Owens couldn't be wrong. Now, you are looking at THIS Telecaster. Go ahead! Buy THIS Telecaster. First, it is a "Real" Tele. It has that distinctive Tele Twang and does not need to have its pickups "upgraded" to get the sound you have been lusting after. Next, the quality is superb. The Squier machine heads keep it in tune, the three-color Sunburst finish is absolutely beautiful and everything about it feels well put together. I am a complete sucker for bound Telecaster bodies and this has it for a lot less because the only other option for a new Tele with a bound body is from the Fender Custom Shop for much, much more money. This is a great guitar that will scratch that Tele itch and look good while doing it.

This guitar was excellent right out of the box. Action was great, intonation great- even the string gauge was satisfactory. Great tone. Frets are smooth, neck is comfortable. Finish is even more beautiful than the on-line images. Price was good, too - well worth it! Haven't been able to put it down.

Keeping getting fret buzz on the B string. Looking to see what remedy you might have. Changed the strings and looked at the frets, couldn't find anything. Did note the neck single is installed crooked, it is tilted toward the neck of the guitar.
In a case like this we recommend having a qualified guitar tech look at the guitarsubmitted4 years ago

How much does it weigh.
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be about 7-8 lbssubmitted4 years ago

I am interested in the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar but was wondering if I can have some custom changes from the factory? I was wondering if i can order it with a different neck. I would like an amber Stratocaster neck instead of the one it comes with. Thank you very much
I'm sorry. Custom work is not a option. Please give us a call to better help you out – 877-687-5403submitted5 years ago
