Light years better than Squires from twenty years ago

Today's Squires are leaps and bounds ahead of the "budget" guitars for years past. The Squire Vibe probably leads the pack and might actually rival the MIM Fender Tele. But the Affinity is no slouch either. Ceramic pick ups that are still decent for a bedroom player. Straight neck. Frets nice and level with only a minor polishing required. Tuners may need changed, hard to tell at this point. Considerably lighter than Fender Teles. Replaced strings. I'm really impressed.
