Description

The Schecter C-1 Blackjack combines high end features, rock solid construction, supreme playability, awesome tone, and a classic look, all at an affordable price. The mahogany body is finished in sleek gloss black with crème binding. The three-piece mahogany neck is set-in for maximum tonal transfer. It's also reinforced with two carbon fiber reinforcement rods for complete stability. With a comfortable thin C-shape profile and a compound radius ebony fretboard, you're got everything you need for fast fretwork. Those frets, by the way, are stainless steel—they'll last forever.

The Lundgren M6 humbucking pickups are nuanced, aggressive and optimized for heavy hitting power and superb clarity. Dual volume controls, tone control, 3-way switch and a coil split provide loads of sounds from subtle to slaying.

Naturally, the Blackjack is decked out with black hardware, including Schecter locking tuners, TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge and a Graphtech Black Tusq nut.

I have owned and own sever Schecter guitars and this is my favorite guitar. IE : I have an SLS Elite Black Fade Burst ( Equally my favorite ), CR-6, Reper Elite FRS, SVSS ( several ) and this guitar just sounds great with the Lundgren pickups. I like it so much that I might by the FRS version of this guitar ! I highly recommend it.

It was unbearable to play, clean amp with settings set to OD or Brown the guitar will squel badly. Pedals made it worse. Even when it was just set to clean mode only I can hear it but, not as bad. My other Shecters which are all active pups did not have any issues. Not the amp issue
