Description

SKB Roto-molded Rack Cases have been redesigned to meet the needs of musicians and pro audio engineers. The Roto Racks include gasketed full front and rear covers for easy access.

These re-designed Roto Racks have an exterior design which includes a recognizable bar design that signifies the rack size on the front and rear covers with interlocking capabilities for a secure stack with Roto Racks and Roto Shallow Racks. Also included are recessed steel, Mil-Spec black twist latches, heavy-duty flush handles and front and rear rack rails with a rack depth of 17.6" so gear can now be mounted front and rear.

      I wanted a strong case for my extra and heavy amp for the PA sub. This is perfect and tough. As long as the securing latches hold up it should be excellent. It's well designed. The handles don't stick out.

      Totally regret getting 3 of these. Very inconsistent, lids are NOT interchangeable (why ?) Threads wear off quick. So far 2 expensive pieces of rack gear have gotten stuck. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

      I bought this case for my Motif XS and I did try a few Gator cases first. One was made out of wood and metal ends. I returned it because of chipped wood pieces when it was send to me. The other Gator case I tried my rack didn't fit securely into the case. I'm glad this one does. It's not the most attractive looking case but it does what it suppose to do. I can stand it up and it will not tip over. The case is a little heavy but it least my rack is secure.

      I like this new style better than the previous SKB cases. The new molded style cases have very secure mounting brackets, and in my case, enough room on top and bottom to allow for cooling of my amp. Did I mention, it also looks flippin cool! My rig got a facelift with this case. You pretty much can't go wrong here.
