100% satisfied with my new AA cymbal.

This cymbal has a very unique sound. It is very bright and agressive, great for on stage performance. It has a quick decay and a medium-short sustain. It gives a quick, clean burst of energy to your music when you need it. It is loud enough to counter any sound thrown against it. The model is pretty thin, so I would recommend buying a warranty with it. If you need a loud, bright cymbal, then this is the one for you.

I've had this cymbals for years and it still sounds great. Really bright and energetic.

I have owned this in the 16" size for quite a few years and it has performed very well! It has enough weight to cut through fairly loud rock music without overplaying it and has a nice well-balanced sound. With my jazz and blues rock groups it works well as a light ride too. It has a nice full sound with a medium decay.

I recently bought the 18 inch crash and it is AWESOME! if you are considering getting a new crash, go with the AA medium thin crash. this cyymbal has a nice bright sustain cuts and has a nice vintage sound to it. although, it is a little expensive, it is completely worth every cent, i love this cymbal!!!!

I own the 20-inch medium thin crash. I couldn�ۡ���t agree more with some of the positive reviews I�ۡ���ve read about this cymbal. This is definitely a versatile crash cymbal that can be used for many genres. The crash sounds great at low & high volumes, but the sound isn�ۡ���t over powering like some heavier/big crashes can be. The cymbal overall is a bright crash, yet it has a nice warm shimmering sustain, especially when played at low to moderate volumes. And when played more aggressively, the cymbal will �ۡ��̏cut�ۡ�ݕ�_ through�ۡ��_again, highly versatile crash. This cymbal is also great for a crash ride, it responds wonderfully, which I would expect from a large crash. I�ۡ���m a fan of the SABIAN AA sound, which I find musical & versatile. I enjoy playing the �ۡ��̏vintage bright�ۡ�ݕ�_ as oppose to the faster �ۡ��̏auto-focus�ۡ�ݕ�_ response of the modern AAX�ۡ��_not to say the AAX aren�ۡ���t great cymbals. I feel as the musician/drummer that I control the sound more with the AA. And I�ۡ���m referring to the �ۡ��̏sound character�ۡ�ݕ�_ as well as the volume level. Obviously the more aggressive the playing the more response you�ۡ���ll get out of a cymbal. I would also say I�ۡ���m partial to a thin crash cymbal. I feel they respond more with less overtones & midrange, and yet they still have volume when I need it. As far as durability goes, I�ۡ���ve been playing SABIAN for years and I never broke a cymbal. And yes, I have played aggressively. Now with everything I�ۡ���ve stated, its all opinion & preference�ۡ��_every drummer�ۡ���s playing style & �ۡ��̏ear�ۡ�ݕ�_ is different.
