This is a really good guitar regardless of its price but when you factor in what it cost it is a fantastic deal. The string spacing at the bridge and nut make it an excellent finger picking guitar and the Adirondack top gives it some nice punch.
Exceptional guitar

As another reviewer stated, expect to perform or pay for a setup, but then this is an extremely good guitar. The tone is rich with plenty of volume. I have a D-18, Taylor 414 and other similar premium guitars and this Recording King is right there with them, better than some. If you can acclimate to the V-neck (I particularly like it) and vintage (wider) string spacing, I don't see how you could be disappointed. I've had the guitar for about a year now.
Worth the money, But

This is a great guitar for the money. I wouldn't buy it without a hard case, simply due to the fact that a good guitar should be humidified. That said, be prepared to spend another $100 on a setup. The quality of the woods are unmatched, but the setup is horrible from the factory.

The sound is great. Perfect for finger style players. My one and only con is the V shaped neck. If Recording King had this same guitar with a C shape neck I would love it.
