This PRS Swamp Ash guitar is absolutely gorgeous. I do not play much but display my guitars as art, quite simply because they are.

I have owned many guitars and this is one of my favorites. It is very versatile and you can achieve so many different tones with the different pickup combinations. This works very well since I play in a band the requires alot of different guitar tones. It easy to change the pickup combination instead of changing guitars. I normally play LP's and then Strat's. I can achieve both tones out of this guitar.

The swamp ash is my first PRS Guitar. I am now shopping for a"higher end "model I am so impressed! The Sunburst finish is absolutely beautiful. It plays like a dream with no issues even playing an F bar cord! I also play flamenco And classical and this is the only electric guitar I have that sounds really cool playing classical numbers. I own an American telle,American strat, Les Paul, several 12 strings and Francisco Navarro classical. Swamp ash is now my absolute number one player…. fantastic Guitar.!! And under$1000!! I would choose this over Gibson and fender, knowing how well it plays and how beautiful it looks. Sincerely.

The sound is amazing speial with coil and the combination very original. I have 3 fenders, 2 of then strat and the other Tele...The best conformtable neck is this PRS, super easy to play also better than 2k and up guitars...I tried anothers PRS but they are not same also de expensive one. It is this model de amazing one.

Great looks, but with some small hard to notice scratches on the finish. Bird inlays look great. The action was high out of the box - 8/64s on the low E. 6/64s on the high E. When I lowered it to 5/64s and 4/64s respectively I got a lot of string/ fret buzz. The top of the frets are very smooth though. Tuners have some play in them- just so-so tuners. Using the tremelo more than a tiny bit knocks it out of tune, even after playing a couple hours and stretching the strings and lubing the nut. If you do not use the tremolo, it stays in tune pretty well. A lot of the fret ends stuck out and could be felt. I like the pick ups a lot. Nice smooth warm musical tones clean and with gain. The neck feels like it has minimal finish on it. Like after a few months it would be perfectly smooth. The neck profile feels like a full C, and is fatter than a modern fender. I'd call it a not-wide-fat, but very playable especially with the 25" scale. Weight: 7lbs14oz. Balance standing with a strap is perfect. The tremelo springs make a lot of noise so I tried a piece of foam and it worked to quiet them. My opinion is if this was your only guitar, or your first guitar you'd love it. If you already have some high end guitars, you may be disappointed. If you like working on guitars and don't mind imperfections, it's a great guitar. I was planning to play it live in a band setting. But the rough feeling fret ends and the tuning instability led me to return it. I got the blue iris color, btw, which was beautiful.

I had always kinda wanted a PRS. When these new SE models dropped a few weeks ago and were 20% off, I decided it was time. This guitar was perfect out of the box. Great setup, impeccable build quality, awesome sound and flexible pickup options. So glad I bought it!
